Finding additional opportunities to improve your Chamber is the over-riding them in the 2005-2006 Program of Work.  Members will find this is one of the Chamber's most aggressive Programs of Work.  There are many new initiatives, including plans for additional networking opportunities, new events and marketing benefits for all members.

Enhance business development and education of our community for our members with the following:

CHAMBER GROWTH

 

Increase Chamber membership by 20% and encourage member participation:

>  Membership Drive

>  Membership Retention

>  Corporate Sponsorships

>  Triathlon

>  Grant Application

>  Fundraisers

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT


Improve the quality of life through increased communication and enhance educational, recreational, safety and cultural programs:

>  Community Health Fair (with Triathlon)

>  Clean-up of Morse Reservoir

>  Youth Support Program (with Kiwanis)

>  Relocation Packet of our community

 

NETWORKING

Increase membership participation at additional networking opportunities:

>  Alive After Five

>  B&B (Biz & Breakfast)

>  Luncheons

>  Arcadia / Atlanta Event

 

GOVERNMENT ADVOCACY

 

The Chamber will continue to monitor issues at local, county, state and federal levels and update members on legislative issues.  We will co-sponsor the Hamilton County Chamber Coalition's Legislative Task Force and Breakfast Series of meeting with our legislators.
