Technology Chair - Tom Zinser tzinser@hodesiQ.com

Tom has been in the staffing technology arena for over 10 years, with his start in the field on the media side of the equation:  CareerMosaic.  CareerMosaic and Monster were the 1st two job boards started in 1994 and Tom went to work for CareerMosaic in 1997 developing business in this new internet world of recruitment, at that time.  He has had insight all along the way as the job boards themselves created new opportunities as well as new challenges in the recruitment process, and how companies have adapted to those changes with respect to technology solutions.

In 2000, CareerMosaic was sold to Headhunter.net and Tom became the Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest within that new organization.  CareerBuilder purchased HeadHunter.net in 2001, and before that merger was finalized, Tom went to work for Hodes iQ in July 2001.  In the last 6 years with Hodes iQ(Applicant Tracking Solution), he has seen the industry change exponentially with respect to the technology solutions available and has great insight on process, technology, media, branding; and how all those elements work in conjunction to produce Best Practices with respect to candidate experience, recruitment process and employer branding.  He is passionate about technology and understands that each organization has its own priorities and needs in terms of solutions.  That knowledge and understanding of where we have been, where we are today and where the tide is taking us enables Tom to be a creative and knowledgeable resource for clients considering technology solutions to incorporate into the recruitment process.
